Confirmation Statement Filing for UK Companies That Never Miss Deadlines
Your confirmation statement must be filed at least once every 12 months. Miss it, and Companies House can start proceedings to strike your company off the register. ABM Chartered Accountants files yours on time, every time, with every detail checked and verified.
Your Public Record Checked and Confirmed Annually
A confirmation statement tells Companies House that the information it holds about your company is accurate and up to date. It covers your registered office, directors, shareholders, persons with significant control, SIC codes, and statement of capital. ABM Chartered Accountants reviews every detail before filing so your public record is correct and your company stays compliant.
Our ICAEW and ACCA qualified accountants check your company data against Companies House records, update any details that have changed, confirm your PSC register is current, verify your statement of capital and shareholder information, and submit the filing digitally before your deadline. We track the due date so you never have to.

Filed on Time With Every Detail Correct
Companies House uses your confirmation statement to maintain the accuracy of the public register. If you fail to file on time, your company is flagged as non-compliant. Persistent failure triggers compulsory strike-off proceedings. ABM Chartered Accountants prevents this by filing your statement before the deadline and making sure every piece of information on your record is correct.
Under the ECCT Act, Companies House now has greater powers to challenge information on the register. Filing a confirmation statement with inaccurate data could lead to queries, rejected filings, or enforcement action. Having your chartered accountants verify the data before submitting removes that risk entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the confirmation statement questions we hear most often. Contact our team for guidance.
What is a confirmation statement?
A confirmation statement is a filing that tells Companies House the information it holds about your company is accurate and up to date. It covers your registered office address, directors, shareholders, persons with significant control, SIC codes, and statement of capital. Every company must file one at least once a year.
How often must it be filed?
You must file a confirmation statement at least once every 12 months from the date of incorporation or the date of your last statement. You can file more frequently if you wish. ABM Chartered Accountants tracks your due date and files before the deadline.
How much does filing cost?
The Companies House filing fee for a digital confirmation statement is 50 pounds from February 2026, up from 34 pounds. The paper filing fee is 110 pounds. ABM Chartered Accountants files digitally to keep the cost lower and the process faster for your company.
What happens if I file late or not at all?
If you fail to file your confirmation statement, Companies House will send warning letters and can begin compulsory strike-off proceedings to dissolve your company. Your company will also be flagged as non-compliant on the public register, which can affect your ability to trade and access credit.
What information does the statement confirm?
The confirmation statement confirms your registered office address, the names and details of your directors and secretary, your statement of capital and shareholder information, your SIC codes, your PSC register, and your registered email address. ABM Chartered Accountants checks all of this before filing.
Can you file my confirmation statement for me?
Yes. ABM Chartered Accountants prepares and files your confirmation statement on your behalf. We review your company data, check it against Companies House records, update anything that has changed, and submit the filing digitally before your deadline. You do not need to do anything.
